WAP Adventure – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between WAP Adventure (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the client (hereinafter referred to as “you” or “the client”) booking and participating in any safari, tour, or related services provided by WAP Adventure, based in Arusha, Tanzania.

By booking with WAP Adventure, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Bookings and Payment

1.1. A deposit of 25% of the total safari cost is required to confirm a booking.
1.2. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the safari start date.
1.3. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.
1.4. Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card (fees may apply), or authorized mobile payment methods.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

2.1. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
2.2. Cancellation charges are as follows:

• More than 60 days before safari: 15% cancellation fee
• 30–59 days before safari: 30% cancellation fee
• 15–29 days before safari: 50% cancellation fee
• Less than 14 days or no-show: 100% cancellation fee

2.3. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 30 days after receiving written notice.
2.4. No refunds will be given for unused services once the tour begins.

3. Client-Initiated Changes

3.1. Any requested changes to your itinerary must be made in writing.
3.2. While we will do our best to accommodate changes, availability is not guaranteed.
3.3. Administrative fees may apply for itinerary changes.

4. Changes or Cancellations by WAP Adventure

4.1. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, safety concerns, or local events.
4.2. In such cases, we will offer a suitable alternative or a full refund, excluding any third-party costs already paid.
4.3. We are not responsible for additional costs resulting from the change, such as airfare, visa fees, or personal expenses.

5. Travel Insurance

5.1. Travel insurance is the sole responsibility of the client. It is mandatory and must provide coverage for:

• Medical emergencies
• Personal accident or injury
• Trip cancellation or interruption
• Loss or theft of luggage or personal belongings

5.2. WAP Adventure does not provide insurance for clients under any circumstances.
5.3. Clients must ensure their insurance is valid and sufficient for travel in Tanzania. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to the tour start.

6. Health and Safety

6.1. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel.
6.2. Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions.
6.3. All activities are undertaken at your own risk. Clients must follow the safety guidelines provided by guides at all times.

7. Passports and Visas

7.1. It is your responsibility to ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your return date.
7.2. You are responsible for obtaining the required visas for Tanzania and any transit countries.

8. Wildlife and Safari Conduct

8.1. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
8.2. Clients must always follow the instructions of guides and respect national park regulations.
8.3. Disruptive or dangerous behavior may result in your removal from the tour without refund.

   9. Liability

9.1. WAP Adventure shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss, delay, or damage caused by natural disasters, government actions, acts of war, civil unrest, or other force majeure events.
9.2. We act as an agent for hotels, airlines, and other third-party service providers, and are not liable for their actions, omissions, or service quality.

10. Complaints

10.1. If you have any complaints during your trip, please notify your guide or our office immediately so we can address the issue.
10.2. If not resolved on-site, you must submit a written complaint within 14 days of completing the safari.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Arusha, Tanzania.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By booking with WAP Adventure, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
